Hellllooo

Well what a mad 24 hrs it's been here, My eldest Chloe's Boyfriend has had a real bad cold for 2 days, his friends have had it longer. Chloe phoned me last night on her mobile asking what the symptoms of Swine Flu were. Straight away my tummy knotted but i told her and she said she'd phone me back. One of her friends had been quite poorly and they were getting a bit worried and wanted some advice, for some reason because i'm an ex nurse they all come to me. The day before another friend of hers had came round for advice on athlete's foot!!! Anyway she came home shortly after saying that her friend had been taken into hospital. And they confrmed it was in fact swine flu. Now we have a major major problem with this, Chloe (17) is very sick and always has been since birth. She was born with a very serious heart defect, at 3 1/2 she had her 1st open heart surgery, they truly didn't think she'd make it through the surgery but bieng the fighter she is she did. Sadly the op was unsuccesfull and the damage they had tried to repair became even worse. We kept her going on meds for as long as possible then at 13 she has whats called a Ross procedure which means they removed her Aorta and pulmonary valve, from the pulmonary they made her a new Aorta then replaced her Pulmonary with a Homo Graph (Donated valve) This op was a breakthrough for Chloe's case which is very rare. It should have given us 15-20 yrs untill th next op ...but it didn't work. Each 6-12 months we're told it will be a bit sooner and each yr it's worse. At the moment she has (in easy terms for you lol) a hole in her Aorta, Leaking from the Aorta , a Hole in her Pulmonary valve with (obviously)a leak, her heart rate is erratic, and the left side of her heart is twice it's normal size. She also has a narrowing in both valves making her heart work much much harder to pump blood through. So as you can imagine any illness can cause major problems if not be fatal. We have been so careful and extra vigilant regarding the Swine Flu. Her boyfriend called his GP this morning and they haven't confirmed if he has it yet trouble is there's another flu going around the Village and we've all been warned that as it's a particlarly nasty one it can be fatal to anyone with a serious health condition. At the moment we have 3 confirmed and 5 possible sufferers and Chloe is close to all of them. We called our GP immediatly, she contacted colleages and Chloe's specialist and they have quarantined her for 7 days, and surprisingly given her Tamiflu. Now i'm mixed on this as the medication has been withdrawn as a precaution here meaning if you have been in contact with someone who's contracted the virus they no longer get the meds as a precaution, which i think is terrible but it's my baby! So it could possibly save her life but i feel for all the people who won't get it. Anyway so far Chloe's ok she has a bit of a groggy throat but if she has it developing the drugs will (please god) nip it in the bud. In our families eyes this is the worst possible scenario of all the family Chloe is the sickest and whenever we've watched reports on the TV our first words are please not Chloe! So sorry this has been such a long drawn out post, and sorry there's no card hopefully i'll get an hr tomorrow but the phone's not stopped ringing lol People sending wishes even neighbours sending love, so it's been a wee bit stressful as you can imagine. Hopefully i'll have better news tomorrow. If praying is a habit your in then please say one for Chloe and every other vulnerable person out there, i'm away to get some rest now all the kids are sleeping! Nite nite all, hugs, Tash xxxx

Hiya everyone, thanks to the couple that left me comments it was very much appreciated. Not much happening today i've just done housework all day it amazes me how untidy teens actually are, i'm sure i'd have got a clip around the ear off my mum if i'd have left so much junk lying around. But thats teens for you or rather a soft mum who puts up with it! Hope you are all well though and a good day!
Todays card is for 3 challenges the first challenge is for Stampavie DT They had a lovely theme of "In the garden" so i thought this lil' image was perfect, i Love Lily!!!The second challenge it's going in for is Papertake weekly, i enjoyed this sketch very simple and clean, and lastly Stamp with Stampavie who wanted the colour theme Red and Blue. As usual she's watercoloured, i've used a digi paper for the main background and a dovecraft to accent. I've used a sponge and ink to make her seem as if she's outside, used my ever faithful MS punch lol, some dew drops, Flowers with a brad. And cute clover charm to match the one she's holding. Hope you like it more than i do once again i'm bieng my own worst critic!

House Mouse No Colour

Ok this one i like it's for the House Mouse Challenge.
They wanted no colouring so i went the whole hog anyone who knows me knows i love monochrome cards, i've used Dovecraft paper, my MS punch, a love sentiment and black and white gingham ribbon, for once i'm claiming this one lol. Please don't forget to leave a comment good or bad i love reading them, fingers crossed i get my camera sorted. Right i'm off back to my corner to sulk some more!

Hugs, Tash xxxx

New Camera Woes

*Sniff* i'm just having no luck! My lovely new camera arrived yesterday and i was so pleased. I took pics of my new cards, ran the software and all seemed fine, untill i tried to upload the flippin pics!!! For some reason the minute i hit ok on the camera to upload my whole PC crashes and restarts. I've googled and googled and it seems to be a common problem but i can't find a solution anywhere. The only advice i found was buy a card reader ok i thought thats not a problem.....................yeah right!!! Apparently you HAVE to have a sound card fitted!! Guess what........i don't so i'm stuck i've posted n a pc help forum hoping someone can help but no luck yet. Worst of all the camera takes a brilliant pic the papers, embellies, images all show up beautifully. So the new cards i've done have been snapped on my ever faithful Moblie, so the pic isn't great.
This first card is for 3 challenges,Penny Black,They asked for swirls on your cards this week. Friday Sketchers And Creative Inspirations who wanted stitching (Faux or Real).I'm not happy with this card but that creative liscense lol. I don't know why but it's just not rocking my boat, does that make me fussy? Thankfully my girls and DH loved it and it's already been claimed. Anyway The image is from Penny Black's Rambling Ted range which i love, it's been watercoloured. i'e used digi papers again. Added some die cut swirls, then put some gems on it as i was convinced it was missing something. Some pretty pink ribbon, a K&Co flower and some Faux stitching. Please give me your HONEST opnions lol.

Hope you like it, Please don't forget to leave a comment, Hugs, Tash xxxx

Distressed Tilda

Evening everyone hope your all well, this weekend has been crazy! We've had the annual village fair called The Boley Fair (pronounced Booley) People come from all over Ireland to it and this isn't a big village so it gets packed then people are drinking way too much and then of course there's trouble! It's a good fair but a counrty one meaning they do sheep shearing contests and pig racing lol, lot's of Irish folk music, Car and tractor rallies etc the kids love it as there is a fair so they get to go on rides which always keeps them occupied. The traffic is horrendous and while i'm sitting typing i can hear the cars beeping i think they're decorating trailers and driving in convoy lol. It' a big weekend but exhausting as you can gaurantee there'll be a fight outside your house at ridiculous hours of the night/morning. On the 1st night we were knocked out of bed at 4.30 am by our daughters friends boyfriend as he was looking for her and thought we were hiding her? But all in all it's a good giggle and gives the village something to look forward to aand enjoy, things have been very gloomy for about 8 months we've lost a child, a young teen and quite a few adults. It's such a shame but the younger ones have really hit people hard including us, so anything that brings a smile is welcome i suppose.
Anyway enough chattering about nonsense i've made a card for the Just Magnolia Tutorial Challenge it's their first one and the theme was distressing, Kim gave us an awesome tutorial (thanks hunni) and hopefully mine's ok. I love the distressed look so couldn't wait to have a go sadly though i'm later than i hoped due to the weekend, but finally got it done!. I've used a gorgeous image which was watercoloured, some K & Co papers, one is digi though (surprise surprise) I've distressed the edges with some scissors and applied some ink, used this lovely antique gold ribbon, some prima blooms and pearl brads.
As usual please leave a comment i love reading your feedback, it's also lovely to see who's popped by. Fingers crossed i'll have another later if not in the morning, Lots of hugs, Tash xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Charmed i'm Sure!

Evening people, Hope your all well. Well i've had a right to do with my camera Mick bought me one for mothers day and i've only just got it sorted out, so put the memory card in and off i went to take a pic of my new card, and low and behold the bloody thing was awful! the picture quality was terrible, i was gobsmacked, i'm not gonna name the maker just in case lol but it wasn't a cheap one! Mick's furious and i'm gutted so we played and altered the settings but no luck. I then took one with my faithful mobile and despite that bieng blurred it was nothing like the camera. So my wonderful DH has just been on that well known shopping site and bought me a new Hitachi HDC-886e it's got a whopping 8mp so should do the job. I'm no David Bailey nor do i aspire to be but i want to be able to see the flippin glitter on my cards for god sake.

Anyhoo enough moaning lol This is a card i made last night, haven't had chance to do one today since having loads of housework (thanks to visiting grandkids!) and then the camera saga. I'm putting this in for two challenges firstly the stamping for the weekend challenge, we had a choice of 2 sketches this week and i went along with Donna's it looked great and i have to say well done for that one it was a wicked design.

The second challenge is Just Magnolia who wanted Charms so i've added a wee one here fingers crossed it shows up ok.

The papers are Digi once again, i love this image with a passion a friend sent me a few stamped as i don't have this stamp.....................yet! But i'm nearly out so must buy one lol, it's been watercoloured as i'm still building my copics and pro markers hee hee, Used my nestie's to sit her on, my Martha punch, some pink satin ribbon, pink satin bows, gems, a sentiment stamp, some lovely prima and other mixed flowers with some cute lil leaves and of course the charm. I'm really pleased with this i know the pic is crappy but IRL it's lovely, and when you look at it imagine it the foccus bieng 3 times worse, i dunno who woulda Kodak'ed it....oops i meant imagined lol.

Hamish

Evening My lovely friends, it's poured down with rain today! But we did gey a wee bit of thunder so i was thrilled even if it did only last a couple of minutes, i love storms. Anyway i did however make a wee card, and i'm really happy with it. Now let me aplogise for the quality of the pic, i have finally got a memory card sorted just got to wait for it to be delivered, this pic does not do the papers justice they are gorgeous. I've made it to enter Stamps and smiles Fresh batch challenge, i loved this wee sketch such a pleasure to use. Love this lil image too such a cute one of Hamish, The papers are all Digi not sure where from now, i've had them that long. I used my doily punch & some white organza ribbon.

I hope you like it and please leave a comment i love to read your feedback it makes my day.

Triple Whammy

Hello my lovelies, hope you've all had a good day! I've had tummy cramps all day not sure why, i'm a mystery lol. Feeling ok apart from that. Weathers been odd not really known what it wants to do.

Well been busy spring cleaning my sons bedroom as aparently 13 year old buys are incapable of cleaning!!! My god i've no idea where it all came from but he has tons of stuuf, so it needed doing, so only one card for today. But that one card is going to go in for three challenges so not too bad.

I'm entering it for Whiff of Joy who wanted 3 papers, 3 flowers and 1 ribbon, the sketch is this weeks sketch saturday which was a lovely one to work with, and finally Charisma wanted buttons so there's a few of those added! I used some gorgeous digi papers, one of my favourite WOJ images which has been watercoloured, some really bright blue satin ribbon ,a K&CO sentiment, 3 flowres and buttons.

Hope you all like them xxx

Good evening my blogging babes, todays been a right scorcher! But there was a lovely breeze so not too muggy and humid, just nice. I've been a busy bee today, done lots of housework. And managed to knock out two cards lol.

This first one is for the creative card crew challenge, the theme was weddings, i decided to do something minimal but elegant as i love this kinda look for wedding cards/invites.

It was of course very easy to make just used my D'vine swirls CB floder, Black satin ribbon, a sentiment stamp and a lovely wee charm.

Teddies Travels

Hi everyone, hope your all well and getting plenty of sunshine, we had a torrential downpour early hours, and a wee bit of thunder and lightening but not much........shame as we love it! Now then onto cards, here's a card for the Penny Black challenge, the sketch was a nice one to do i throughly enjoyed it, I've used an image from Rambling Ted Range which i love!, some paper from K&CO Hopscotch pad and digi ones, burgandy ribbon, buttons, CB frame die and sentiment stamp, sorry for the crappy picture again.... i know i know i must sort my camera out lol. Hope you all like it.

Sad Days

Afternoon everyone, it's been a horrid few days here. We lost a wee 10 yr old boy on thursday in our local River (3 mins away from me). We heard the sirens and initially thought the mountains were ablaze again as it's a constant problem during hot/warm weather. We soon realised that there were far too many and they were too close. I tried phoning both daughters Chloe (who had told me she was going down to the river) was at the beach but i couldn't get hold of Brooke so started getting a little worried, Jay said he would ride up to the main street on his bike to see if he could find her for me, my tummy was turning we knew that whatever had happened was serious and very close. I live in a village so it's a small community and everyone knows everyone. My nerves were shot! 10 Mins later Brooke and Jay came in sobbing, A wee lad Daniel had been swimming in our local river along with most of the children in the village just like they have for generations. Sadly he slipped into a notorious deep hole that has taken young lives before, two neighbours jumped in to save him but it was too deep and they couldn't reach him. He was down there for 20 mins untill the rescue services arrived, a fireman (ironically from Hilltown) Jumped in but he got into difficulty too, apparently theres a whirlpool and sinking sand at the bottom. In the end they had to form a chain of rescuers to get them both out, Daniel was rushed to our local hospital and after an hr and half of tirelessly working on him the medical staff finally got a pulse, they transfered him to the childrens hospital but sadly he died at 2am. I can't begin how to explain the feelings and mood of the village it's like one of your own has gone. He was adorable gorgeous blue eyes, dark skin and a stunning smile. My children helped with consoling his sister who they are good friends with, and spent every day till the funeral at the wake, it was open casket which has scared a lot of the younger ones including my Jay, but they will get used to it i suppose, i think it's more the fact he was such a young age. Jay has taken to wearing his cross again to keep him safe bless him.

The funeral was yesterday and it goes without saying his Mum and Dad are distraught. I just hope they can find some peace, i couldn't imagine what they are feeling, I wish them a huge amount of love. Despite only bieng 10 Daniel touched so many lives. RIP Daniel xxxxx

French Country Blue

Helllooo, Gosh what a scorcher!!! It's so warm over here but it's lovely! My feet have swollen to the max again and i've no get up and go but hell who cares it's summer yay!!! Fingers crossed it lasts a while, my washings on the line, windows wide open, smell of fresh cut grass, sound of birds and kiddies playing......awesome, i'm loving it!

Brookes hand is very sore still but then she refuses to take her painkillers the toerag! She's coping so can't badger her too much i suppose and lets face it no-one likes taking tablets all the time.

I had another order to do so thought i'd try and do something summery! This card feels like french country to me, maybe i'm just nuts but hey ho, the papers another digital one! lol, the stamp is a see d's which i never use so at least it's seen the light of day for this year at least! Used my nesties to stamp it onto, some gorgeous blue lace i have and some pearls, think this one is a love it or hate it one tbh, at first i loved it now i'm not so sure. Tough now though it's finished and gone to the customer who loved it, she's happy at least!

Wedding

This next one is for a wedding, once the customer came to collect it she was amazed as the colours are the same as the wedding! Lol

I've use cream pearl card and used my D'vine swirls CB folder on it, this is an image from a disc a friend made up for me yrs ago, used my nesties to frame it, black organza and cream pearls.

Hope you like it, Tash x

Elegance

Hi all!! Had a really busy day! First of all my DD Brooke (otherwise known as wise a**) came flying in the house earlier stating "i need to go to Daisy Hill" (our nearest hospital!) She had been messing around with her friend and swung a punch (friendly eh?) missed completly and hit the wall! Her knuckle had disappeared, i had a peek and she flinched before i even touched her so it was obvious it was very painful, we took her down to A&E and after an hours wait the xray results were through thankfully it's not broken which amazed me (an ex nurse), the staff nurse and the doctor as we were pretty convinced otherwise. They have splinted it and sent us home, it's very badly bruised bless her. So i'm up and down the stairs (with my still fat feet!) checking on her. She was ordered to take her painkillers which in honesty she should be taking every 6 hrs anyway for her kidney and spine but never does, can't say i blame her i hate taking mine too but needs must. She's now sleeping like a baby thank god!

Ironically our eldest's Boyfriend arrived at lunchtime with a cast on, get this... he was working, fell and shunted two knuckles upwards .......ouch!!!! So when our daughter walked in with a non existent knuckle we were gobsmacked!

In between all that drama i have done some work lol dunno how! But orders were due so gotta keep it going i've not had one card free day in 3 1/2 wks! Not that i'm complaining of course.

This first one is a birthday card, it's for a lady in her latter years so i wanted to do something elegant. Once again i've used my Hero Arts Saliva stamp, i have to say i'm loving working with this one, i kept it monocramatic. Simple but graceful (hopefully!) Used some more digi paper, Textile CB folder and this lush Black picot edged ribbon that i've fell in love with, it's the first time i've used it as i'm so scared of running out, ridiculous as i can buy more lol, do anyone else do that too?

Sugar Nellie

Last one for tonight, i've watercoloured this gorgeous Sugar nellie image, Again these papers are digital ones (i know i love them!) Some lovely vibrant blue ribbon and a button with some thread tied through it, perfect for those lil terrors! Tash xxxx

Bouncing Boy

I love this one! This is Elines decoupage, i've used some love blue and yellow gingham paper i found at the bottom of a bargain basket yrs ago, My fiskars border punch and nesties! Any opinions? Tashxxx

Elzybells Baby

Hiya! well it's been a busy few days and as i'm sitting typing this i'm surrounded by my craft stuff half way through a wedding card, i've had another big load of orders and it's keeping me well and truly busy!, They've been a lovely mix too, birthdays, promotion, births, christenings, weddings and anniversaries. So plenty of variety to keep me on my toes and stop me from getting bored! All my kids are now on their summer holidays, think it's 91/2 - 10 weeks this yr, most of them stop going after their exams, Last yr they had a wk left and the scholl sent them all home one day and told them not to come back till september as half of the pupils didn't bother going!

So it's going to be tough trying to keep them occupied, Chloe's 17 and generally amuses herself as far away from home as possible! Typical lol. Brooke (15) may as well move in with her friend as she spends all her time with her but at least she's happy! Now JJ is a different story altogether he's 13 and has ADHD, Trying to amuse him is difficult, thankfully he loves fishing with his dad so they will Probably end up down the river or up the Lake a lot of the time, if not i'll be bald by september from pulling all my hair out with frustration, he's my wee man but gets bored ultra quick as most kids do but with his condition it's 10 times worse, lately he's been doing silly things he shouldn't just out of pure boredom, thankfully the worst was smoking which we have been quick to nip in the bud. Boys eh? Gotta love 'em!

Anyway got a couple of cards to show the first is cute it's a stamp i use often, my Elzybells bundle, Some goreous gingham paper, nesties, flowers, ribbon, pearls and a gem make it a really simple card but i loved making it. I've watercoloured it as usual, hope you like it!

Anya

This next one serves as a double for me, it's a swap for one of the groups i'm a member of and the theme was for buttons and bows. I'm also putting it in for the Roses on Paper Challenge they wanted pink, yellow and green. this is one of my favourite colour combo's it's so fresh but can also have a vintage feel to it if you use the right materials. I Used some digital papers i have, and Anya stamp, some lovely lemon buttons and Pink satin ribbon, hope you like it!!

Cuttlebug

Ok this next one i love, i know thats something coming from me i'm never happy with my cards! Anyway i used textile CB embossing folder on the bottom half, My Nesties with plain white card and Silver Mirri, i love this ribbon it's nothing extravagant but i like the look of it and with the hearts it's perfect for a silver wedding anniversary. A lovely little heart embellishment, added some corner peel offs and done! Well i did have a wee hiccup with the Cuttlebug folder. I browsed the web looking for techniques on how to use the folders with my Bigshot, they all said to use MPP on tab 1, but it just wouldn't budge! So ended up having to use the MPP with no tabs, and it came out so crisp so no damaged done to my Baby (Bigshot) and got the card perfect, now i tend to use 300gsm card so i'm guessing that using Tab 1 and this thick card was just too much but i'll know for the future it's all trial and error but i have to say i had a bit of a cold sweat going for a while lol.

A Couple of New Cards

Hiya!!! Again a million apologies for taking way too much time out but i've been busy busy busy again, great for earning but terrible for trying to catch up on everything else!!

Hope you've all been ok, i've a few cards to post, this first one is for a 50th birthday, it was an order i got and had to knock it up within an hour! I' was sweating bullets, needless to say i won't be doing that agin lol. The paper is lush and is embossed with roses, i've used my Hero Arts Real Saliva stamp with some shadow ink, some black card and Antique gole satin ribbon. Sorry the pic is so pants, opinions please?

Teddy in a Pot

Ok last one for tonight, This one is a bit lavish! It's once again a 3d image which is really cute! Lots and Lots of peel off corner and borders, Lovely Lilac and Silver Pearl cards And gorgeous purple organza ribbon.

Forever friends Bookatrix

I luuuurve this next one it's a forever friends 3d image, for some reason i always use 3d on these keepsakes, don't ask me why! I've used silver mirri card, and then lemon and pink pearl cards, lots of peel off borders and corners, lemon organza ribbon and some K&Co corners, it looks much better in real life! Real fresh

Crikey it's warm!

Hello everyone, well it's really really warm here. I'm loving it and Hating it all at the same time! Typical eh? I've really not been feeling too good the Fibro really does not like the heat. My legs are like Jelly and My feet are huge! Doesn't matter how long i have them up they won't go down, i've not seen my ankle for 4 days!!!! Even when i get up in the morning i still have fat feet!!

Anyhoo i've been busy..........as usual! Had a few orders and the three bookatrix's to do. Enjoyed doing them tbh just getting up and down to get what i needed was a pain as i'm moving at about 2.1 mile an hr lol.

The 3 Bookatrix's are for 3 very special young ladies my friend/customer has been looking after them for many yrs. They are all special needs and their disabilities vary quite a lot, one girl is 22 and the other 2 late teens, they are leaving Vera now as they have to move on. So Vera is heartbroken as she has had them since they were babies. She wanted something special and adores the Bookatrix's, she also wanted verses on them nothing sad and depressing but to acknowledge their leaving but to keep it cheery as they are moving on in their lives. I chose the best three verses i could and she loved them, i really could see how much the words were relevant bless her.

Anyway the first one is a 3d sheet of a large butterfly, I've used glitter and pearl cards, some gorgeous butterfly foil embossed acetate, organza ribbon, craft wire, Stickles and Liquid Pearls.

C.R.A.F.T Challenge #1

I like this one! This is my entry for the first C.R.A.F.T Challenge I stamped the baby shoes onto white card cut from a frame diei then watercoloured the image with pencils. The papers are lush they are by paper adventures, i added white satin ribbon and two teeny weeny buttons to finish it off, i adore making baby cards, they would be my favourites along side wedding cards, Hope you like it, Tash xxx

Double challenge entry

This next one is my entry for this wks Spoonfull of Sugar and Whiff of joy challenges. I used this gorgeous image, it's been watercoloured. The papers are DCWV Floral stack and K&co, some white lace, flowers, brad and gems. I like the colours but tbh i'm not mad on the card, it doesn't sit well with me, don't ask me why because i don't know lol, but us crafters are a fickle lot after all. Hugs, Tash xxx

A Celtic Wedding

Hellooo everyone! Hope you've all had a good day, it's absolutly peeing it down here but with lovely sunshine! So loads of gorgeous rainbows, i Love rainbows!! Does that make me sad? Oh hell i don't care! I love the colours and they never fail to make me smile. So i'm officially sad lmao.

I've been a busy bee made 2 cards the first is an order i had for a wedding card, the invitations were celtic themed so i thought it would be nice to follow that. It's just an image i had saved so i printed it out, a wee bit of layering, border punch and ribbon and it's done, i love the look of it not too fussy but with a touch of class.

Ok quess what i made a card.....................seriously lol don't know what possessed me, only kidding it would be a very odd blog if i didn't make any!

This is for Spoonfull of sugar challenge, cutting it fine i know! I've used the ever faithfull Forever friends stamp, K&co papers which adore, they really know how to make papers! I've used some gold satin ribbon threaded through a slider and Rubbadubbadoo sentiments. I'm happy-ish with it lol. What do you guys think?, Hugs, Tash xxx
Evening everyone, hope your all keeping well! OMG it's been one of those days!I haven't stopped lol. I've 8 orders four of which are Bookatrix's so i'll be kept busy thats for sure lol. I do have something i want to get off my chest. The other day when i handed out awards i really was really pleased with myself! Thing is a couple of them haven't even been accepted, not even acknowleged tbph. I know to hardened bloggers they are probably boring but to a newbie they are exciting, to not even acknowledge you have been given one is really disheartening. I'm feeling a little dejected, it kind of makes me feel as if i'm not good enough to be handing them out. I was talking to a friend last night and they even mentioned it, that got me thinking "ok it's not just me then" Maybe my work isn't up to some people's standards, maybe i'm not as successfull as some, maybe my cards aren't drop dead gorgeous, maybe i'm not in with the same clique but i never imagined that would be a problem, i had assumed we were all here for the same thing? To learn, Grow and not least support and encourage each other. I've been making cards for a long time and i'm quite successfull at it i earn money doing it, enjoy making them and most of all put a smile on my customers faces making cards and keepsakes makes me happy to know that it will be cherished for life. Maybe i'm bieng a bit too sensitive about it, it certainly wouldn't be the first time i've got the wrong end of the stick. It just would have been nice for a thanks for thinking of me, i don't expect anyone to put the award on their blog, not everyone's taste is the same but to completly ignore the fact you were given one and not mention it at all is a little unfair it means so much to most. So here's my promise i will NEVER ignore an award, NEVER ignore a comment, NEVER ignore a request, thats a promise. anyway off my soap box now and back to my normal chirpy self, Tash xxxx

I used House Mouse Cheesecake image watercoloured as always, the papers are digital ones i printed and i love them! The colours are gorgeous very vibrant! Tied it off with some ribbon and Viola! Tuesday, 19 May 2009

Evening everyone (although beginning to think noone visits my blog:( ) I am sooo unwell right now, no idea whats wrong ....well it could be a couple of things but hell i feel rough! I've had a splitting headache for 4 days, a really high temp, then uncontrollable shivers, i do have a dodgy tooth thats a wee bit sore so not sure if it's that but if it is it must be one hell of an abcess as it's not doing the normal throb it's constant and i've never felt this ill with one before! Trouble is i'm having to take different painkillers as my usual aren't working but this means as i'm not taking my regulars my Fibro is really kicking up! Ah well enough whinging and whining. I have in between dozes etc managed to make a card for the stamp with Stampavie challenge. I really enjoyed this wks sketch and i'm pleased with the results too. I used Fall standing Tilda which i watercoloured, Papermania papers (although the pic is awful) Some flat backed pearls, clear gems, dream stamp, flourish and stickles. I'm going to edit the pic in the morning as this one is terrible. Once again if anyone does ever visit my apparent barron blog please leave a comment, constructive critisism is always welcome, Hugs, Tash xxx

Saturday, 16 May 2009

Ok last one....well for tonight lol, i used a Mary Hughes Stamp for this christening card. Some blue Bazzill card, DCWV backing paper, Blue satin ribbon and blue gems.

I also want to say a massive thanks to the paople who left me comments it's lovely to hear some feedback and to see that i'm actually doing something right lol, Tash xxxx

Next is a bookatrix for a wedding, i really enjoyed this, in fact i always enjoy making them. The theme for the wedding was cream and gold and the invites had wedding rings on so this image was perfect. I've used peel off corners and borders, antique gold organza ribbon, gold and cream pearl card and the paper is actually wrapping paper from clintons, it has glitter around the swirls and is gorgeous! Hope you like it.
This one is a 3d image, i love using this sheet it's sassy. i've finished it off with gold glitter paper, black organza ribbon and bow and some clear gems.

Sorry for not bieng around for a few days i've been so busy with orders! Before 12 o' clock hit today i had 6 orders all for monday and tuesday so it's been frantic here! I've done quite a few this wk and wanted to share some with you, this first one is for a new addition in the village i can't get enough of my Tilda stamps, so i used Baby Edwin this time, An oval frame, a nappy embellishment, peel offs which i rarely use, i tend to use borders & corners more for Bookatrix's but thats about it. The paper believe it or not is wallpaper, i love the softness of it, just had to use it!

This second one is for this weeks http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ challenge it was all about touchy feely, i really enjoyed this one not just because i got to use Tilda! But because it was a challenge, i've watercoloured the image, used American Craft paper which i love, nesties, Clear gems, Handmade paper with glitter going through it, Swiss dots embossed card, Brads, flowers, a tag from K&Co and pink velvet ribbon, i'm really pleased with it there's plenty af touchy felly bits on it, but apologies for the rubbish piccie!! I am still learning after all lol.Tash xxx
